Splitting and nectar flow

I'm in the Parker area. Trees are blooming and the bees are definitely bringing in resources. I've not had to add any feed since early February. I'll be getting into my hives this weekend, and will likely need to add some supers.

Thought I'd get this forum topic started. With the wildly warm, dry winter we have had, and with what looks to be a dry, warm spring, we face some significant challenges. Swarms are already happening (at least 3 weeks before normal) and at least here at 6100' elev. the blooming trees are well into their bloom, where irrigated, but there is very little in the way of wildflowers yet. I have already split 2 hives and went ahead and put honey supers on the strongest, hoping to catch what little nectar flow might happen over the next month or so. What are you seeing in your area?
